THE MISSION

Nature’s Valuable Nutrition Corp. is a non-profit organization formed with a mission to travel to the source of hunger and feed those in need. The goal is to not only provide the hungry with nutritional diets, but also to provide education on the value of incorporating healthy choices into daily living. If the mission is successful, we will not only have fed those in need, but  they will learn to provide their own organic and sustainable sustenance through growing, good choices, and healthy eating. And eventually, we hope, those once hungry, will pay it forward by going out into the community and doing the same. You can donate whatever amount you desire by Zelle to nvncor@gmail.com We here at Natures Valuable Nutrition really appreciate your contribution .Thank You

THE TARGET MARKET

Initially Nature’s Valuable Nutrition aims to target the hungry in and around Georgia. Eventually, schools and organic farming programs, as well as global leaders, will be the goal.

STATISTICS PAINT THE PICTURE OF NEED

According to the Georgia Health Policy Center, not enough money or resources are being allocated to feed the hungry. The U.S. Department of Agriculture defines food insecurity as “a lack of consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy life.” In Georgia, more than one in five children (21 percent) live in food insecure households; the national average is 18 percent. About one in seven Georgians (15.1 percent) don’t always know where they will find their next meal; the national average is 13 percent. The customers in this market aren’t the buyers, they are the needy. Still, the demand is great and the need, greater. However, that does not mean there is not a consumer demographic that can and should be part of the demand and instrumental in the growth. Additional partners will include policy makers and business owners. It is my goal to convert those policy makers so that they understand why it is imperative that they get on board and partner in nutrition education.

THE NEED IS GREAT: FEEDING THE HUNGRY

Kenneth Glover and Nature’s Valuable Nutrition Corp intends to serve a great need to feed the hungry but immediately, to serve a population of which, at least in Georgia, is falling through the cracks. There are many organizations who feed the hungry, but few are willing to immerse their presence in the community and teach nutrition. According to the Georgia Dept. of Policy, hunger statistics alone amount to “16.2% of the people living in Georgia are food insecure. 23.2% of Georgia children live in food insecure households. This is one in every four Georgia children. 17.8% of people living in Georgia are living below the poverty level. So,
there is certainly a need.”

TO WHOM MUCH IS GIVEN, MUCH IS EXPECTED

Growing up in our home of The United States of America , we were raised with the attitude of gratefulness – grateful for the opportunity to live in America and because of this opportunity we were taught we had a responsibility to give back, along the lines of “to whom much is given much is expected.” The intention NVN is to recognize individuals who are making life better for residents in the U.S. and beyond. When I found out that I had been authorized to proceed in giving we were ecstatic! Being tapped for this honor was assurance that we were indeed fulfilling our intention of being of service to our community. We were given this amazing honor but what was we going to do with it? We knew we had a responsibility to do more, so we did. In the first year since receiving food from community drives we went from serving on just two community boards to eight. Our City wide Corporation continues to grow and open more businesses awareness and provide more jobs here in Atlanta Ga.. Being chosen to step up is not just an honor, it is much bigger than that – it is a call to service. Your community has recognized you for being of service and is looking to you to lead and to do more. The NVN is that it inspires folks who are already leading and elevates them to give more of themselves. The majority of honorees inevitably go on to do more. You can donate whatever amount you desire by Donations accepted through Zelle to nvncor@gmail.com

SHORT AND LONG-TERM GOALS

The plan initially is to reach out to the underserved. The organization is on a mission not only to feed those in need in and around Georgia, but also to educate the underserved on nutrition and the value of healthy eating. Eventually, the goal is to attract policy makers and business owners and convert those policy makers to the cause. Eventually, the hope is that as a team, we bring an awareness of the need for funding, and partner with local business owners in the Georgia area.
Long term, if the initiative is successful in Georgia, the non-profit hopes to serve as a model for global nutrition giving. If it can succeed in Georgia, one of the hungriest states in the union, it will certainly bode well as it expands across the United States and globally.

The Purpose of Giving

The purpose of giving is the same as the purpose of living. We were created in the image of the creator and knowing that the very nature that has been given must be the seed of the fruit that will nourish the multitude. The purpose ofgiving is not the glory of man. Many religious contributions are given, so that it will be properly inscribed on a bronze plaque: “Given by……., In Memory of………” Lets not glorify ourselves publicly but let it be known personally in our hearts and souls that we have helped the next living being your brothers and sisters.

When my friend asked me why I wanted to start this program , the answer seemed glaringly obvious to me.I said it was this: while unconditional love is a wonderful thing, the gift of giving is the proof of that love and the very source of good spirit..

Solutions…

In order to make a small contribution to the plight, Nature’s Valuable Nutrition and its formidable team of dedicated volunteers, intends to shine awareness on the very dire local epidemic of hunger in Georgia. We will address the need for funding and ultimately, team with local business owners in the Georgia area to make a difference! THE FOUNDER

Kenneth Glover hails from Charleston, South Carolina. Trained as a naval aviation air crewman, he went on to receive his degree in aviation technology, upon completion of his military duties. Kenneth also worked at NASA as a calibration technician. Later, he carried with him that early military training and discipline, to propel his music career into the success it is today. After a few tried ventures, he dabbled for a time in music production in Virginia. Soon, he began to receive requests from others to produce music. Over time, he developed a real passion, and it was at this point that he took his skills and his love of music to Atlanta. Shortly after his arrival in Atlanta, Kenneth opened Loyal Music Group, his first professional music endeavor, with his brother, Reginald. The idea was to attract the attention of radio buyers and earn street credibility among local Atlanta talent. Eventually, the Glover brothers parlayed their early success into writing and co-writing for others. You can donate whatever amount you desire by entering your donation amount, proceed to checkout and then “X” the donations that you don’t desire.
